MLC seeks excellent part-time teachers/tutors interested in tutoring opportunities located from Redwood City to San Jose. Tutoring sessions happen at the Meyers Learning Center office (in Cupertino), students’ homes, or an alternative mutually agreed-upon location.

- Completed Bachelor's degree
- Teaching credential + 2 yrs. teaching experience OR 5 years or more teaching/tutoring experience without credential
- Impeccable time management & organization skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and compellingly
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
- Willingness to work at least 5 hours per week, for at least a full school year
- Excellent references
- Must pass background check
- Experience with various learning challenges preferred (not required).
- You must be a subject matter expert with experience teaching in at least one academic area: English or math-based and/or standardized test preparation.
